This bedroom has spectacular views from three sides at the top of the house and a narrow spiral stone staircase leading to the South Tower Roof. Cromwell’s Folly and its adjoining private ensuite occupy the entire first floor of the South Tower. It is furnished with a five foot four poster bed and its bathroom has a cast iron roll top bath and separate rainfall shower. It also benefits from a private Juliette balcony overlooking the formal gardens of the Central Range.
The West Range Master Bedroom (6′ bed) includes a step up luxurious en suite with a spacious walk through shower and a free standing cast iron roll top bath.
The Greystoke Room is a twin bedroom with 3′ single beds. Its sandstone surrounded window looks toward the Lakeland fells. It has a private en suite with a shower bathroom.
The Cumberland Room has a massive antique silk curtained 5′ four poster bed with a private en suite shower bathroom overlooking the South Tower Orchard and Lakeland fells. Its dark oak bureau and free standing wardrobe add to the historic flair of this luxurious bedroom.
