An annual May Day event that takes throughout central Penrith, featuring a fun fair, street entertainment, stalls, music, dancing and a grand carnival parade with floats and fancy dress – lots of family fun!!

An inspirational weekend dedicated to all things photographic. Now in its third year, this show is the only one of its kind in the North and offers a chance for anyone with an interest in photography and video to hear talks from some of the UK’s most inspiring photographers and filmmakers. You can get your hands on the latest gear from leading manufacturers, as well as having the chance to view and buy a fantastic range of landscape and wildlife work. With support from Penrith Camera club, there will also be an exhibition of over 250 photographs from Cumbria‘s leading camera clubs.

13/05/18 Hutton-in-the-Forest Plant & Food Fair, Hutton-in-the-Forest, Penrith, CA11 9TH
Definitely one of the highlights of the season, Hutton-in-the-Forest Plant and Food Fair is a superb day out for all the family!
This year, as well as a strong showing of perennials, there will be a great range of specialist nurseries, including primula, rose, peony and a range of alpine, herb, tree and shrubs specialists.
There will also be a wide range of food stalls, all delicious, including locally reared meat, yogurts, cheeses, breads, cakes, preserves and wine. 10am – 4pm
