The Melmerby Hall woodland park conference rooms are set in its Grade II listed sandstone stables. These conference rooms offer a step free flexible additional accommodation option for your stay at Melmerby Hall including a large function room with an adjoining reception/tea & coffee and two separate break out conference rooms with accessible toilets.

The largest conference room offers internal space of 4 meters x 18 meters and is well suited to larger gatherings or activity orientated groups. The two smaller conference rooms in this facility may be used as a break out rooms with tables for work or activity groups. The sandstone terrace and ramps facilitate step free access to the building at two separate entrance points.

The restoration of the Grade II listed stables at Melmerby Hall and woodland park has retained the original sandstone stonework and Westmorland slate roof and all original openings. It has created a light and airy internal space for guest use during their stay at The Rowley Estates and Melmerby Hall.

The Melmerby Hall and Woodland Park conference rooms facility project has been supported by The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas.The project entailed the restoration of the Grade II listed stables courtyard of Melmerby Hall to retain its heritage whilst incorporating three step free multi-use conference and function rooms and associated ancillary spaces including accessible ground floor toilets and tea/coffee areas for guest use.
