We booked a weekend break at the elm retreat in a shepards hut and we was not dissapointed it was beautiful a fully equipt kitchen to a spotless bathroom with toiletries provided it even came with a BBQ and firepit and everything to go with it. The hamper with breakfast items was a lovely touch and Christine was on hand at all times if we needed anything great quality good service we will be returning great value for money.

A fantastic place to stay! We arrived to a brilliant welcome basket made up of local produce. The hut has been well designed with great kitchen and bathroom facilities. The location is peaceful with a beautiful view from the hut of the Lake District.

We all had a wonderful time. It was very beautiful, comfortable and peaceful place. Can’t wait to come back.

Lovely place, feels spacious despite being a cabin. And I’ve never known a place to be so peaceful! Absolute silence other than the stream flowing

We had a great stay. Lots of privacy and all the comforts. There was a delicious drinks board waiting for us. Definitely recommended!
