Clay Pigeon Shooting

Another fun activity which you might like to try during your break at The Rowley Estates is Clay Pigeon Shooting. Cumbrian Adventures can offer clay pigeon shooting including coaching for novices to experienced shots within the grounds of Melmerby Hall and Blencowe Hall.  This is really fun for a morning or afternoon activity.  The sessions are run by Cumbrian Adventures and can be booked independently through them by Guests staying at Blencowe or Melmerby Hall.  We find that sessions normally last about three hours though there is flexibility around this, of course, depending the number of participants & the weather.   They provide all necessary equipment including low recoil guns, eye protection and ear defenders.
