Relaxing stay, in beautiful well layed out cottages & gardens with wonderful views. The host (Christine) was extremely helpful, informative and prompt to reply. The welcome hampers were fabulous. We would definitely return.

Both cottages were absolutely perfect! We were away competing all weekend with friends and it was the perfect space to wind down in the evening! We couldn’t have asked for any more and the welcome hamper is such a special treat! A very special place to also spend my 30th birthday surrounded by my friends and family! I was impressed by the attention to detail for my daughters wedding. We had a number of questions, all of which were answered clearly. The support that we were given before and during our stay, gave us the confidence that the ‘big day’ would be a success.
The standard and versatility of accommodation, meant that families and unrelated groups could meet up, party or just chill, as we pleased.
The recommended caterers delivered a range of meals over 3 days, which met the needs of all ages and tastes.
It was a weekend to remember, but for all the right reasons.

Beautiful location and cottages exactly as described. Very comfortable. fully kitted out, enough space for everybody and we had a wonderful time celebrating my mum ‘s 90th. I would highly recommend to anybody.

Another lovely stay with Rowley Estates. Cazenovia is an excellent property and we were fortunately available to also book adjacent Wythburn for our family holiday. Best aspect for us is that every bedroom has en-suite facilities which is rare in a large property. We were blessed with sunny dry weather so enjoyed some excellent walking nearby but also in the Lake District which is very accessible. The pub in Greystoke is traditional with lovely food and a large beer garden which is popular with locals. Another benefit is that it is within easy walking distance from the cottages. We recommend highly “The Chippie Van” that visits Greystoke every 2 weeks. You can order online and collect on the evening and give the family chefs a night off. Both cottages are very well equipped and comfortably furnished. We also appreciated the generous outdoor seating areas and well maintained gardens. A special bonus is that kindling and logs are plentiful and included in the price. I’ve checked with all who came on the holiday and without exception all 14 of us agree that these are the nicest properties we have experienced in recent years. Highly recommended by us all.

Christine’s place is exactly as described. As a large family, there was plenty of space for us all. It’s a very quiet private area which was great for the dogs and children. Christine was very responsive to messages and provided a list of local activities to do!

Just back from an amazing 60th celebration. Everything was perfect. Thank you very much Christine. We will be returning!

This is our third visit and it never fails our expectations. We spent 4 days over Christmas and everything was thought of for our arrival. Spectacular accommodation with stunning views. We certainly will be back again and again!! Just wished we could have stayed longer and not one of us wanted to leave! That to me shows what a wonderful place it is!! A hidden Gem. Rented this cottage and the adjoining Cazenovia Hall early November 2024 for our party of 12 to celebrate my 70th Birthday. Both properties are beautifully appointed , and Christine Rowley and her team were superb to deal with. Very useful welcome pack in each house , and every detail thought of to ensure a comfortable stay and memorable family weekend for the event, right down to supplying logs for the open fire, and dog biscuits for the well behaved terrier which accompanied us, and to sending us a briefing memorandum on local events and activities for the visit. Often, when one goes to holiday accommodation, the place does not quite live up to the website photos, but these properties are as good as the incredibly beautiful website descriptions, both for Cazenovia and Wythburn. Would have no hesitation in going back there again. Many thanks to you and your staff Christine .
