We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is immaculate and has everything you need for a lovely weekend. We really didn’t want to leave!

I can’t believe that it is a week since we were in Vale Croft. I would just like to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your property and also the walks that we had in the area. We will certainly be looking to come back in the future.

We thought that your welcome hamper was very well stocked and that the cottage was well equipped for self catering. This was our first self catering holiday in the UK and were very impressed with your service.

We enjoyed every minute of our short break at Vale Croft. This immaculately presented detached cottage has far reaching views from the private patio over the Eden Valley towards the mountains of the Lake District.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and the owners provided a wonderful welcome hamper containing a range of locally sourced products. Locally made toiletries were also provided.
The kitchen area was well equipped and included basic items such as coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil etc. Logs and kindling were available for the very efficient wood burner.
We found Vale Croft to be the perfect place for two, to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the beautiful Eden Valley.

We loved every minute of our stay at Vale Croft. Even before we arrived we were impressed by the website and the ease of booking on line. The information provided about all aspects of the cottage and the area was comprehensive and very helpful. And when we actually arrived, Vale Croft exceeded all our expectations! From the ‘welcome hamper’ to the comfortable bed and furniture; the efficient, crackling wood burner to the powerful shower; the well equipped kitchen to the beautiful views, Vale Croft is a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful holiday.
The owners of the cottage made every effort to ensure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. When we discovered we had left our wash bag behind at the end of our holiday they immediately packaged it up and returned it (free of charge) in the post!
