Beautiful location and cottages exactly as described. Very comfortable. fully kitted out, enough space for everybody and we had a wonderful time celebrating my mum ‘s 90th. I would highly recommend to anybody.

A lovely property furnished to a very high standard. We also were able to rent adjacent Cazenovia Hall so please also see my comments on that property. Thank you to all at Rowley Estates for accommodating us at short notice. We had an excellent family holiday and appreciated the good location with easy access to The Lakes and Penrith. We would love to return but are also tempted by the impressive alternatives offered by Rowley Estates.

As a fellow host it was a delight to be hosted by another family who knows what true self catering luxury feels like! From the stunning design to the high end finishes and the personal touched like stocked items, as many local they can, and a welcome snack hamper with a hand written note! You won’t be disappointed easy flexible check in good communication and we even added on the hot tub hire. If we’re back in the area we will definitely stay again.

Christine’s place is exactly as described. As a large family, there was plenty of space for us all. It’s a very quiet private area which was great for the dogs and children. Christine was very responsive to messages and provided a list of local activities to do!

Just back from an amazing 60th celebration. Everything was perfect. Thank you very much Christine. We will be returning!

The most perfect Airbnb! I would thoroughly recommend staying at Wythburn Cottage. There isn’t anything I would fault. Christine was a brilliant host and the cottage was immaculate and stocked with everything you need for a fantastic stay. Having en suites, all with showers is a big plus. The location is perfect to visit the Lake District. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch, with a special mention for the delicious jam. We hope to stay again soon! Thank you

Wythburn Cottage is a converted barn completed to an incredibly high standard. From driving up the driveway to entering the cottage, you know you’re in a special place. Each room is laid out well, and you really feel it’s a home-from-home. The furnishings are high quality and modern but in keeping with the carefully renovated barn you’re in. It feels open and airy, but also cosy and serene. There is plenty of space and good facilities for everything from lounging to reading and relaxing. The cottage was very well prepared for our arrival, spotlessly clean and tidy, with a lovely hamper and welcome card to greet us. Everything prior to arrival was extremely easy – it’s clear that the host, Christine, is experienced and has thought of everything you might need or want to know prior in advance. That information was emailed over in plenty of time for our stay, as well as most of it being duplicated in a folder in the house for easy reference. I would highly recommend Wythburn Cottage

A hidden Gem. Rented this cottage and the adjoining Cazenovia Hall early November 2024 for our party of 12 to celebrate my 70th Birthday. Both properties are beautifully appointed , and Christine Rowley and her team were superb to deal with. Very useful welcome pack in each house , and every detail thought of to ensure a comfortable stay and memorable family weekend for the event, right down to supplying logs for the open fire, and dog biscuits for the well behaved terrier which accompanied us, and to sending us a briefing memorandum on local events and activities for the visit. Often, when one goes to holiday accommodation, the place does not quite live up to the website photos, but these properties are as good as the incredibly beautiful website descriptions, both for Cazenovia and Wythburn. Would have no hesitation in going back there again. Many thanks to you and your staff Christine .

Very comfortable and spacious cottage, beautiful setting, and extremely attentive host. We would definitely recommend the Rowley Estates to anyone visiting the Lake District.
