We booked Hause Hall Farm for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding with 25 guests, accommodation for 18 onsite. We had the best time celebrating amongst our family and friends. Everyone felt at home, it was well equipped, dog friendly, incredible views, large living room and spacious dining room with open kitchen, lots of storage and bedrooms were accommodating for all guests, including heaters, spare bedding, and a travel cot. Just as advertised on other reviews and their website. The management was very supportive leading up to, and on our special day. We chose Hause Hall Farm because we love the area and it was a good location for both our families to travel too. We love the idea of visiting for future wedding anniversary’s and hosting over Christmas. The space is very diverse for all occasions, cost effective, we were able to decorate how we liked, book our own catering/private chef, and had no corkage fee or exiting time as per usual weddings. Our families and guests had a fab time! Our photographer and chef was very impressed. Thank you and much love to Joanna and the team.

We were a party of 15, including 2 babies and 3 teenagers. We were there at the beginning of November 24 and used Cruik Barn as well as Hause Hall. All the bedrooms were furnished to a good standard. The accommodation as a whole matched the website descriptions and the separate dining area and sitting area worked really well for us. The information supplied re appliances etc was comprehensive. The views on all sides were beautiful especially from the glass-walled seating area.

Hause Hall is a very special place: amazing views, wonderful walks from the farm and really generously and thoughtfully equipped. Our families had the best time and the owner could not have been more helpful with information and advice. Highly recommended!

Hause Hall is quite remote, about 2 miles from Pooley Bridge, accessed by a single track lane. Nevertheless, the location and views from the property are amazing. The property, main building and two smaller accommodations were immaculate and extremely well presented. Our group of 8 felt immediately at home. Christine was easy to communicate with and responsive to messages when needed. There was absolutely nothing to grumble about and we would certainly consider returning if we ventured up to this area again. It’s our yearly treat, getting together, and taking on a few adventures (this year was Kayaking, Via Feratta extreme, and a tab over Striding Edge and Swirral Edge). Having a warm, welcoming, and luxurious property to return to adds that little extra to a wonderful few days away.

We had a wonderful stay at Hause Hall. The property is amazing and suited our needs perfectly.
It will certainly remain on our list of ‘return to’ properties should we all endeavour to visit the northern lakes area again. The weather was favourable for Kayaking and then the Via Ferrate Extreme on the Thursday but typical ‘hill’ weather on the Friday meant a cold, wet and windy walk around across Striding Edge and Swirral Edge.

We had an amazing time at Hause Hall Farm celebrating a family birthday! The house is in such a beautiful location with incredible views from every window. We stayed with 8 adults and 6 children, and the house was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We also had the Cruik Barn which was helpful having two different cooking and eating spaces for all different ages. It’s our second stay with the Rowley Estates and I would highly recommend staying with them and at Hause Hall Farm.

Beautiful House, third stay here and it has been perfect every time

Just returned from a long weekend at hause hall farm. We went for my husbands 65th birthday with family and friends. On arrival at property we couldn’t believe the amazing views. You are literally surrounded by hills. Absolutely stunning scenery. The main house was lovely. Large open plan kitchen dinning room with a sitting room at other end. Huge garden room with views across the hills. Plenty of room for everyone. 1 double ensuite room downs stairs and 4 upstairs. We also had Cruik barn which was beautiful with 2 double en-suite room, a lovely lounge and kitchen. We also had the stables which had 2 double en-suite rooms. Perfect for my sons as they had their own space but made then come over to the main house as they had no public areas! There are plenty of walks on your doorstep and it’s only a 20 min walk down to the terminal for the ullswater steamer. Great weekend. Thank you so much Christine and team.
