One of the most beautiful stays in the Lake District. Private and peaceful. Christine went above and beyond, the welcome gifts were fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

Gill Beck Farm is a truly magnificent break and you will find all you need is catered for – even an Aga! The property is warm and cosy, perfect after a Cumbrian walk. I will certainly return to Gill Beck Farm or another of the Rowley Estate properties when back in Cumbria.

Such a beautiful house in lovely surroundings. The house was very clean and the bed was comfy. We also got left a very nice welcome pack of goodies! We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful trip away. Also the local bakery and pub are worth a visit 😁

We had a wonderful stay at Gill Beck Barn and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the lakes. Communication was fantastic prior to the stay making everything on arrival smooth and easy . The house was spotless and cosy, and the location was perfect – very quiet and relaxing and great for our dogs. Overall a really lovely weekend away and a fantastic host!

What a lovely time we had! A peaceful weekend in this beautiful home. Dogs really enjoyed the garden and made friends with the sheep. We had an amazing bank holiday weekend here, thank you.

The Aga and the fire brought warmth to an otherwise wintery week! 2 dogs loved the garden and we did lots of muddy walks. Hamper was very welcoming and all the facilities were excellent. Many thanks for a lovely few days with plenty of fresh air!

Wonderful stay at Gill Beck Farm, feeling refreshed. Christine really is a super host and took any stress away from the organisation of the property with top notch amenities. We will definitely be back! P.s excellent recommendation for Sunday lunch at the Shepherds Inn!

Thank you for a fantastic stay. It was so homely and clean. Bathrooms were lush!! We really loved it and the fact that you can walk from the back gate!
