Arragon’s offer a great bicycle hire service where they will drop cycles off at The Rowley Estates properties and help with cycle tours by prior arrangement.

You can hire for as many days as you want and for the more leisurely option, they also offer electric bikes, which will help you get to the top of of even the most daunting hills. Again, we recommend them personally, having used them ourselves – a small independent business who go out of their way to help you and advise on the best routes.

They run our family’s favourite cycle shop in the area and are also experts in bespoke cycling adventures for all ages and levels. We love off road cycling as a family and, at Whinlatter Forest, there are graded trails to suit all ages and abilities.

Cyclewise Whinlatter is based at the Whinlatter Forest Trail Head, near Keswick and the forest park offers three stunning graded mountain bike trails situated amidst a beautiful forest setting. Additionally, we have a superb range of mountain bikes and electric bike to hire available for either 3 hours or the full day. Great fun for everyone whatever your biking ability along the Quercus blue mountain bike trail, the Altura North & South Loop red mountain bike trails and the Gorse Cycle Trail.
