Pick Your Own Raspberries
We have closed for the 2022 season and are looking forward to welcoming guests for PYO and ready picked on the table in July 2023!
** please check the Rowley’s Raspberries Facebook page linked here for an update from the field with opening hours, fruit condition etc when the season is running. This is the source for the most up to date information about the raspberries. Thank you! **
We open when it is not raining and there is no need to pre-book a time for picking. Please just feel free to come along whenever convenient during our opening hours.
For more than 40 years Rowley’s Raspberries have been growing beautiful traditionally reared raspberries in Glassonby. We are in the centre of the Eden Valley near the ancient stone circle Long Meg and her Daughters between Little Salkeld and Glassonby at post code CA10 1NP.
We are delighted to be supporting Hospice at Home fund raising again this year with their lovely knit animals and marmalade and The Great North Air Ambulance with our “naughty nibblers” donation jar 🙂
There’s ample car parking, containers are provided, and you can also buy gorgeous home made jam and drinks. If you want to make a day of it, there are great walks nearby along the Eden River between Little Salkeld and Lacy’s Caves down to Daleraven Bridge and through Long Meg and Her Daughters stone circle.
