Christine, Charlie and their team were absolutely fantastic and words can’t describe how beautiful Blencowe Hall is. The views are incredible and the property is stunning, it’s clear that a great deal of thought has been put into the restoration. The property was extremely well equipped with everything we needed to host a very special weekend. Thank you so much for sharing this special place!

Blencowe Hall was ideal for our family weekend for 13 adults and 11 children. We all had a fantastic time in this stunning yet comfortable and well-appointed venue. The Hall had everything we needed for a large family gathering as well as the wow factor.
The owner was extremely responsive and helpful with my many enquiries before our stay, which made organising the weekend much easier and stress-free.

We stayed here for an 80th birthday gathering and all loved it. Plenty of hiding places for the children and lots of safe running space for the dogs. Huge lounge with a crackling fire for the family pub quiz. A good time was had by all.

This is the third property belonging to The Rowley Estates that we have stayed at with varying numbers of family and friends.
Each of them has been well presented with the descriptions being accurate.
The welcome baskets provide useful items – it is always nice to be able to arrive and have a cup of tea before doing anything else!
This time we had some meals provided by Lynn Hilditch’s drop off service which were very good.
We are contemplating a fourth venue for next year – suffice to say, we would recommend any of the properties owned by the Rowley Estates!

We’ve done quite a few multi-generational weekends away over the years, and Blencowe Hall was by far the best we’ve stayed in.

The house itself is stunning, full of character but also incredibly comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped, which made catering for a large group so much easier.

Christine was a fantastic host, really responsive and helpful throughout, and nothing was too much trouble.

What a wonderful place to gather family and friends for a birthday celebration. Everyone loved their bedroom, gathering for cocktails in the Solar before enjoying meals in the beautiful dining room and trying to beat the youngsters at pool or billiards. When the weather allowed we explored the local countryside and when it didn’t, we were able to visit local pubs and towns. Blencowe Hall had everything we needed and more – even for the most discerning of cooks amongst us. We’ll definitely visit a Rowley Estates property again!

Blencowe Hall is an amazing venue inside and out. We had a large group of 30 across both the Hall and Riverain cottage. Everything was brilliant, the views, the spectacular rooms, lots of communal space, and a well equipped kitchen with lots of storage space. The welcome hamper was lovely, the hall and cottage were so comfortable and very clean. All communication with Christine throughout booking and additional information, (organising a hot tub too) was very helpful. We had caterers on one day which was great, and the kids had a great time exploring the hall! It was spotless and all the little details (toiletries, hamper, towels, fire wood, toilet rolls) show a lot of consideration for large groups. We all had a great weekend celebrating a birthday, and would definitely love to come back and stay again!

Wow, Blencowe Hall is just stunning! The owners had everything covered: spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen, dining table already set, a large living room, manicured gardens…and done lovely touches. It’s a beautiful Castle/Hall and we will definitely return. An ideal venue for a family celebration.
