Absolutely perfect weekend away to celebrate my other half’s birthday and the house exceeded our expectations for the occasion. Incredible house, facilities and lovely touches from the host who has been so helpful throughout. Already planning our next trip to come back! Thank you Christine.

This home is simply wonderful. So cosy and a huge amount of space. Everything felt to the highest quality from the bedding to the decor. The kitchen is so well equipped for cooking and the views of the mountains were amazing. Our favourite memory were the sheep running down the road one morning with the farmer. The hampers were a kind and thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend.

We booked Todd Hills Hall Farm and nearby Vale Croft to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday and we had the most wonderful time during our stay. The location of Todd Hills is simply stunning with fantastic views towards the Lake District and within walking distance to the village of Melmerby.

The property was just perfect for our celebration and superbly equipped for all our needs. Although I took with me a collection of items that I thought might be needed, I need not have bothered as Todd Hills has it all. Even our dogs were well catered for with dog bowls, treats, towels and even poop bags!

The living space at Todd Hills is excellent with sun lounge, tv sitting area and spacious kitchen complete with AGA which meant that our party of 12 plus dogs had plenty of room. The dining room was perfect for our party and we enjoyed superb evenings dining and celebrating together before a few games of billiards on the converted dining table. The bedrooms are all well designed and complete with en suite facilities which were spotless as was the rest of the property.

We enjoyed our stay so much we are already talking about a return visit next year. A huge thank you to Christine and her team at Rowley Estates for making our stay at Todd Hills such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Had a fab time staying here as 5 couples and 3 dogs. All the bedrooms were beautiful and great sizes. Really nice garden with wonderful views. Kitchen had everything we needed (welcome hamper was a nice bonus!). We had a dinner out at the local pub which is a 10 minute walk from the airbnb which was lovely – really good food and the owners were super welcoming! Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous cottage with outstanding views

A fantastic home that felt welcoming from the moment we entered. Christine is a great host who made sure we had all the information we needed for a relaxing stay.

We stayed at Todd Hills Farm for my sister’s bridal shower and everyone had the most amazing time! This place had such a peaceful atmosphere and the surroundings were beautiful. The house has an old charm that made it feel both unique and welcoming. Everything inside was thoughtfully arranged and easy to find, which made settling in a breeze. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a serene getaway. We’d love to return someday!

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful cottage although the weather wasnt great a few day’s while we were there, it didn’t dampen our holiday, my husband, daughter, and myself all have busy jobs, so to spend family time around the large kitchen table, talking and playing board games was great family time spent together. My elderly mum has walker,and finds it difficult to walk so having everthing on the ground floor, and was very spacious for her to get around the house which was great. There are so much positives about this cottage that I could go on and on. I would really recommend this cottage,, for relaxing or exploring in and around the area.

A lovely house, just like the photos

We stayed in July with two other families and had a fabulous time. The set up was perfect, with lots of space for the group as well as privacy for each family and the 6 adults, 6 kids (age 2-7) and a dog! The welcome basket was fantastic and we loved the complimentary raspberry picking at the rowley estates. We were so lucky with the weather and ate in the garden every evening with the fire pit to keep us warm when the sun went down. Would highly recommend Todd Hills as a place to explore the surrounding areas and great for groups.
