We stayed here for three nights just before Easter. Everything was absolutely perfect- including the weather! The cottage is really quirky and very comfortable and spacious. Wonderful sun trap of a terrace. The welcome hamper was super generous. And lots to do in the area.

Awesome little cottage, very cosy but very spacious with it – plenty of room for the kids (4 and 1.5 yrs) to run and around and spread out. It had everything we needed and lot’s more besides – very well equipped. The kids appreciated the train set too! There’s a lovely log fire and firewood provided, just right after a day exploring the lakes and hills.

One of the best equipped and appointed cottages we’ve stayed in – everything you could possibly want is provided, it’s good quality and spotlessly clean. It’s a great base for exploring the northern lakes and also the eastern side of Cumbria. Stunning scenery all around you and lovely walks right from the door. Christine has provided very detailed information about the area, places to go, things to see and do, and suggestions for when the weather isn’t so good! There really isn’t anything we could find fault with. Absolutely perfect!
