Lovely little cabin great for somewhere to sleep and chill at night.

Definitely would recommend and would stay again

Very nice cabin with good facilities, all very clean and in good condition! Handy foldaway bed, allowing you to make the best use of the space. Small disadvantage: this does make the sofas a bit stiff. Communication with the host is good, but you receive a number of emails in advance with a lot of information, which could be a bit more compact and bundled.

I booked this hut for my girlfriend’s birthday and wow, it did not disappoint. Inside the hut was incredible, very spacious and had everything we needed and more! We literally didn’t need to bring anything. We couldn’t believe that The host left us bread, butter, jam, milk, fresh bread, muesli, tea, eggs, coffee and Cumbrian apple juice which we loved so much! The location of this hut was beautiful, we loved just sitting by the stream and listening to nature, it felt very private and secluded. We loved using the fire pit and barbecue, and all wood and coal was there to use which was brilliant. Overall I think this hut was very good value for money, and would not hesitate to come back and stay again 😊

Cosy little place on the edge of the lake district with great details. Clean, warm, hot water plus bread, tea, milk, juice, coffee, muesli and jam left for guests, even those staying a couple of nights. Highly recommend!

We had a really lovely stay in the sherpards hut and it was really private.

What a wonderful  experience we’ve had at the Shepards Hut.  We were deeply touched with the welcoming hamper you’d left for us, truly delicious.   We’ve left today with many fond memories of our stay and can’t wait to return.

What a superbly located hut! Great river views and beautiful decking outside, it’s the perfect place for some al fresco dining, even in September, when we rented it for wedding guests. We wouldn’t hesitate to do so again!
