We had 9 en-suite bedrooms which were all fabulous. Nobody had to share a bathroom.
The down stairs area is huge. Lovely big family room with another big room off it for some quiet time. The library is also a nice peaceful room to just sit and chill in. The formal dinning room is beautiful with a big open fire place . We had plenty of room to all sit round the table. The dinning kitchen .. orangery is where we ate most of our meals and was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The large boot/utility room was great for all the outdoor wear and dogs.
The surrounding grounds are great to walk around. If you want to venture further there are walks you can do from the house or a short drive away.
The village has a lovely bakery with lots of yummy treats. You can also eat there and enjoy a glass of wine.
The village pub is very nice and we all had a lovely Sunday dinner. Just be advised it has weird opening hours.
All in all a fabulous holiday. Truly 5 star!!!
