Stayed for a long weekend and loved it. Would definitely go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Oak retreat for our hiking trip. Lots of lovely surrounding towns, pubs and lakes. A prefect place to come back to after a long day, it had everything we needed. Christine was very quick with our queries and clear directions to the location. Exceptional service with some breakfast and groceries provided. We would definitely recommend this hut for future holidays. Thank you!

Wonderful property, plenty of room for a family get together. The property was clean, and had all the amenities you could need. Nice touches were the welcome hamper, the log burner and candles set ready to go!

Myself and my family stayed here recently for a short break, we wished it could have been for longer. We would love to return one day.
Kirkbride Hall is a beautiful property, the decor is very luxurious. The layout works so well for a large group and the pool table is such a fun idea. If you have children/dogs the rear garden is very secure and quite large.
There was a lot of information about the area and ideas of places to go in the well put together folders in the kitchen.
The supplied hamper ( full to the brim with goddies ) and wine were an appriciated touch. The communication with Christine was first class. She helped out with a couple of queries very quickly.

The property itself is full of charm, blending rustic character with modern comforts, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The attention to detail throughout the house was exceptional, with spacious and beautifully furnished rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and cozy living spaces that made us feel right at home. The outdoor areas were just as spectacular, providing the perfect spot to take in the stunning scenery, whether enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset over the hills. A special thank you for the wonderful welcome basket—it was such a thoughtful touch and made our arrival even more enjoyable. What a lovely house! We had the most amazing time – there were 12 of us and 4 dogs. The house was stunning and the garden is lovely with views all around.
The kitchen was well stocked and equipped – it had everything we needed. All the bedrooms were beautiful with lovely views. Will definitely stay again – gutted to have left.
One point to note, if you have dogs that are interested in sheep, the garden borders a field with sheep – there are fences all around and our dogs weren’t bothered but some might be.
