What an amazing place. Christine was a great host and kept us updated with all the relevant information we needed.
Absolutely stunning house and grounds. Family trip away. We stayed 4 night, 14 people and 4 dogs. It suited all our needs. So much space inside and out. The house was spotlessly clean and decor was beautiful . It had everything we needed. Every bedroom had its own bathroom, and beds were comfy . The hamper that was left for us all was amazing and so thoughtful. All in all an absolutely wonderful place to stay. I would definitely recommend .

Really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is beautiful. Directions were easy to follow and the cabin made our stay in the Lake District!

The house and facilities are all excellent. Having the village just a short walk away is great and access to the area is very good. Christine is very contactable and I would recommend this property to anyone.

We booked Blencowe for a family and friends celebration of our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we had stayed there 17 years ago and just knew it was the place we needed to celebrate. From our first contact with Christine and the team to see if it was possible to the last contact everything was so easy and welcoming.
The hall is one to behold and everyone as they arrived had their mouths open in awe.
The hall is very well supplied with everything you could ever want.
The kitchen has plenty of everything, the bedrooms were all so comfortable and sitting outside looking out onto the gardens everyday left us with memories we will never forget.
Thank you Christine and team for making us feel so welcome and able to play Lord and Lady of the manor for a few days.

We booked Cazenovia Hall for friends coming from the US to stay in whilst we had our English friends staying in Blencowe Hall.
Our friends were so totally blown away with the hall, they loved its old exterior but its totally modern feel inside.
The hall is very well equipped and the rooms are so light and airy, the beds were extremely comfort, so much so the teenager had to be woken every day at 12 to join us.
Thank you Christine and team for making us so welcome and allowing our friends to make lovely memories that they will not forget.

Had a lovely stay! Was exactly like pictures and the breakfast bits left for use was a lovely touch! Lots of local recommendations given for various activities too! I would happily stay again!!

We gathered as a family of 17 (my brothers & mine), along with 5 dogs to celebrate the lives of our parents, following our father’s death.
We all sat around the large table for breakfast & pudding on our 2nd day with fruit from our father’s garden.
We all sat in the evening with the little ones playing games or watching them play.
The contained area for dogs to run around in was great, especially for the two guide dogs who are not used to having a free run every day! The surrounding wall was a little low for the husky/German Sheperd who is only 18mths old, so on a long lead. The separate dog bin was also useful.
The roads are narrow and winding and there is lots of stopping/reversing to allow others to pass or being thankful others have done this for you.
We ate at The Inn on the Lake, Glenridding 1st night & Pooley Bridge Inn on the 2nd followed by homemade crumble – warmed in the Aga.
Beautiful toiletries/linens & towels made it feel like luxury & views were fantastic.
