This riverside retreat at Blencowe Hall within The Rowley Estates is idyllic. Bluebells, red squirrels, songbirds. The turning of the seasons as colours shift in dappled light. At night the moon rises through laced branches of blackthorn and oak and the owls hoot. It’s so magical we want to offer you a way to linger here. Our shepherds’ huts give you a simple break in the heart of the wilderness with a flourish of The Rowley Estates luxury.

Somehow even better than the pictures! We have stayed in a lot of shepherds hut and I think this is the best one… amazing location in a very private area where you feel in the middle of the woods!
Very clean.
The shepherds hut has 3 different outside...

Absolutely amazing, only wished we had booked longer. Will 100% be coming back – really peaceful and quiet but only a short drive from any villages/shops etc. Came with all the amenities you could need, was really happy thank you!

We absolutely loved staying here for the four nights we booked and wished we’d stayed longer. The place was spick and span. Absolutely stunning surrounding scenery, with every detail thought of to accommadate us during our holiday. We will definitely be back.
