5* Place to stay with all the homely comforts. Fantastic hamper on arrival and fire wood supplied – very much needed as we were there during a heavy storm. Fantastic for large groups and very beautiful surroundings and interior. Christine the owner was really helpful and responsive when needed to check any details. Fantastic service and experience. We’d love to come back for a Christmas. Would love to stay again – would just hope the weather would be kinder!! Thanks

Many thanks to you and the team at Rowley, We had a fantastic few days at Hause Hall and around Ullswater, the house was a great base for celebrating my birthday and the location is beautiful.

Delightful, cosy, sparklingly clean, comfortable house, barn and stables. Plenty of room for all of us to be together, with the opportunity to retreat when in need of some space. Enormous hamper to welcome us, including all the basics for a cup of tea and a mince pie on arrival. The AGA made sure we were never cold. We had a fabulous time.

The location is stunning. Very special indeed. Beautiful views. We hired a hot tub and it was SO perfectly placed for gazing up at the mountains and down Martindale. This was our second stay at Hause Hall, Cruik Barn and The Stables for a family get-together. It’s worth noting that all the properties are very well insulated, draft-free and really warm. Both times we’ve stayed here have been in winter and both times have been wonderful.

This has to be one of the most luxurious family holidays we have ever had. So clean, so spacious and don’t just sleep 16/18 of us. It fitted you comfortable throughout the house. When organising a large group for a holiday again in England no need to look anywhere else. Absolutely lovely and Christian and the Rowley Estates team looked after us so well. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Hause Hall Farm,The Cruik Barn & The Stables with family and our closest friends for our wedding. The actual ceremony took place in the day room which looks out to stunning views. The house, Cruik Barn & Stables are very clean, comfortable, warm and finished to a very high standard. You had everything you needed and more. Christina and Joanna have exceptional customer service and we would highly recommend, whether it be for a rural getaway or for a wedding you can make your own!

We booked Hause Hall for a family celebration weekend. It was perfect to bring us all together in such a lovely venue. The views, facilities and attention to detail are all fantastic. I would highly recommend staying

We were 11 staying and had a great weekend. The house is extremely well appointed and warm. Beds are comfy. The kitchen has everything that is needed for large groups. The valley is just stunning, with nice walks from the doorstep. This is a great place for a lovely weekend with friends / family. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice.
