Hause hall is in the most beautiful & rather remote location in the Lakes! We love Ullswater & it was a great spot for quiet walks. Christine made us up the most spectacular hamper for our arrival! A kind & thoughtful Christmas treat. You would expect some small bits but it was a huge goodie basket & we’ve even brought some of it home with us! She was also kind enough to let us arrive earlier than check in & allowed my mum who has ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) to stay an hr after the usual check out time which was really kind. The house is incredibly well equipped & has things you would find in a home but rarely in an air bnb!! It was fantastic to have so many pots & pans, two dishwashers & electric oven with gas hob in addition to the Aga which was great when cooking for more than 10 people on Christmas Day. We had a wonderful time & we will remember our time at Martindale & talk about it fondly for many years to come! Thank you for making my son’s first Christmas a special one! X
