We had a fantastic stay at Riverain over New Year. The accommodation is very well appointed, cosy, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. The welcome hamper was exceptional and the little extras such as the local toiletries, doggy treats and dog towel were all a real bonus. We had such a great time that we have already booked again for next year!

Riverain was hired as part of our wedding at Blencowe Hall. The cottage is beautifully styled and is a luxurious home from home. Our guests loved staying here. There was a beautiful welcome basket with delicious goodies. Highly recommended.

Fabulous luxurious place in super setting. Beautiful conversion and excellently equipped. Thanks for the hamper and enormous supply of wood for the huge open fire – particularly appreciated when the snows came. Snug and warm enjoying the views. Really handy for Ullswater and Derwentwater (and local walks) but away from the crowds. Ground floor en-suite bedroom especially useful for the birthday girl 84-year-old grandma. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend without hesitation.

6 of us had a brilliant 4 days at Wythburn Cottage we needed for nothing, it’s a lovely cottage and the scenery is breathtaking. We visited Keswick on market day too! Christine kept in touch with us up until our arrival explaining everything! Thank you

We rented wythburn cottage for Christmas this year. With a large family we rented cazenovia and wythburn. They are next to one another so perfect for coming back and forward. Lovely house with 3 en-suite bedrooms. Kitchen dinning area downstairs snd a beautiful lounge on the top floor. Both houses were spotless and well equipped with everything you could need. Views of surrounding countryside lovely. Only a short walk to the lovely village of Greystokes were you can have drinks and food in the friendly pub. We have stayed in several of Rowley estates properties and have never been disappointed. We thoroughly recommend them as a company. Christine and her team are always on hand and do a top job.

Wythburn Cottage is a beautiful oasis in a small and quiet area just outside Blencowe. The cottage is furnished to a high standard with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break in a quiet and delightful surrounding. We will definitely be back at some point to rediscover this area just outside of the lakeland national park.

We have just returned from a holiday in Elk Cottage, a wonderful holiday staying in a perfect cottage. Very quiet, equipped with all that you need. The wood burner the perfect spot for the dogs to lie in front after a long walk. Highly recommend the Rowley Estate Cottages, the little extras like a superb welcome pack and use of a range of luxury toiletries make all the difference. Thank you to Christine and the team.

We stayed at Hause Hall in October 2021 for five days for our elopement. We really wanted to make our wedding more than just the wedding day, a real experience for our children and friends and our stay surpassed all our expectations. We booked Hause Hall without viewing due to covid restrictions but it was clear that it provided everything we wanted from the website; secluded and intimate for our tiny wedding, just eight of us, cosy but full of natural light, with easy lake and fell access and of course infinite incredible backdrops for our photographs. When we were able to view Hause Hall in person a few months later, we were blown away and it made us even more excited for our day. Christine and Joanna were so helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble and they really let us shape the day we wanted, without the formulaic approach to weddings we see at venues week in, week out being wedding photographers ourselves. The accommodation is outstanding, the kitchen is well stocked and the welcome hamper is such a lovely treat! Joanna popped in for a final planning meeting the day before the wedding, having chatted things over on the phone in the run up to the wedding and on the day Joanna was everything we needed her to be, really helpful but unobtrusive. I’d recommend Hause Hall to anyone planning an intimate wedding in the Lake District because I truly believe it’s such a special place that offers you everything your could want for your day – and so much more!

Thank you for the most wonderful stay and the most perfect setting for our wedding. We have enjoyed every single minute and we will never forget the beautiful views and fun we have had here!
