Rates range from £35 per person per night based on full occupancy of the 2 bedrooms for a 3 night mid-week stay in the early spring season of 2026 or £416 total for a midweek short break.

Cedar Retreat has Herdwick wool insulation and is an all seasons double shepherds hut with heating including a chrome towel rail in the shower room and a drying cupboard for hiking boots and coats next to its private gravelled parking area and log store.

Christine is a friendly host and she was very responsive. Google maps led us astray, but she picked up the phone immediately and steered us right. Place was spotless. Sheep walk right up outside the cabin. Very nice retreat away from the city. Would recommend with the right company.
