We had an amazing stay. The place is so cosy and beautifully situated, with gorgeous surroundings and a perfect location. We really appreciated all the lovely little touches, especially the welcome package with fresh bread, jam, coffee and other things – such a thoughtful touch.

The BBQ and outdoor seating area was also perfect, a great spot to sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings. We’d happily stay again and would definitely recommend the Oak Retreat. Perfect stay & the perfect host – thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oak Retreat. Being welcomed with a lovely selection of goodies on arrival was a lovely touch. We were surrounded by beautiful views – it was very peaceful and we would definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Christine’s lovely shepherd’s hut at the Larch Retreat. It was easy to find and exactly as shown in the photos. We were greeted by a lovely hamper. The hut was clean and warm and had a very cosy feel to it. It was the perfect place for a relaxing break in the Lake District. Thank you so much!
