An absolutely stunning stay at Birch Retreat. The pictures really don’t do the location or the lodge justice. Super dog friendly, our water mad lab was able to play in the beck for hours with no one else around and no stress. Sitting on the deck with a cup of tea watching the lambs play on a morning really was a highlight. If you’re considering booking this place I urge you to do it.

The place is wonderful! The host has thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible (the basket of local produce was phenomenal). The property is spacious but cosy and comfortable throughout with all the facilities and utensils you’d need. Looking out over fells, watching lambs jump about whilst cooking breakfast on the Aga was pretty much the quintessential experience I’d hoped for, and this property delivered!

We stayed at Cazenovia Hall with other couples for a reunion weekend. Great standard of accommodation with a well kitted out kitchen and fantastic socialising area in the living room with open fire.

Highly recommend the Rowley Estate properties. This was our third stay at one of their venues and they continually provide a high standard with every detail considered and a high level of cleanliness.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful shepherd’s hut. The location was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were hoping for. The hut itself was absolutely spotless and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It really felt like a home from home. The attention to detail and all the little touches made such a difference and didn’t go unnoticed. Honestly, it exceeded our expectations and was easily a five-star experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

great location – the house is like the Tardis – it seems to be bigger inside! We stayed as a family for a 50th and got Lynn the private chef who did an amazing job. the place has everything you need including several open fireplaces which just adds to the experience. The is a great mix of modern vs original with most of the house retaining original fetures and feel but in the bathrooms and kitchen where it matters you have the modern feel and facilities you would expect. Host was amazing too – great communication throughout and so friendly.

Words cannot describe how wonderfully special Hause Hall Farm is. It is warm, welcoming, and has the most stunning views – the perfect place to stay and get married!
