Great place to stay and explore the lakes, can’t fault anything about the house or the host, both were great, will be returning in the future!

We had a fantastic stay. Communication with Christine beforehand was prompt and very helpful including ideas of places to visit and what was on in the local area. Having the two properties next door to each other suited our family gathering well. Both were well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The welcome hamper was amazing and everything you might need was provided. The local area was great for walks- we enjoyed seeing Long Meg stone circle and Greystoke castle. We also enjoyed playing snooker by transforming the dining table. A great place to stay!

Just enjoyed a short stay at Glassonby Old Hall with my family. This property is superbly well equipped and comfortable making our short stay thoroughly enjoyable. Many thanks to Christine and her team for their attentive support.

We had a lovely stay here for our friend’s 30th birthday! House was so beautiful and the surroundings were amazing! Lots to do nearby and Christine was so helpful, would definitely stay again!

Excellent venue for family party of 9 guests and 3 dogs. Superb welcome basket ! Well equipped kitchen and plenty of lounge space.

Genuinely outstanding place to stay. We would fully recommend staying here. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens we’ve stayed in which is important for us as we did lots of cooking.

What a fantastic venue for a family get together. Warm, cosy and amble room for everyone. Catering facilities are exceptional with a warm and inviting aga in the kitchen where we spent time catching up as a family. The host Christine was so nice with fast return communication and very accommodating. I would and have recommended this venue to friends as it is exceptional.

What a fantastic place, with everything you could ask for. Beautiful inside and out. Clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Everything that you needed was catered for in the kitchen. Large seating area along with a large dining room table which turned into a pool table at night.
Quiet and peaceful with views over the countryside with an enclosed garden at the back for our dog. Great big fireplaces to keep us warm and great showers as well – with a well that lit up in the bathroom!! Large enough that all eight of us never felt too closed in. Stunning, you won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

This is the second time I have stayed in a holiday let from “Rowley Estates” and both have been clean and well equipped to a very high standard.
Glassonby Hall is spacious and full of character. It was a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary with my wider family. The time was over too quick but we all made some special memories.

We had a group of friends and our dogs. It was a lovely week and the property is spacious and well appointed.
