This is the second time I have stayed in a holiday let from “Rowley Estates” and both have been clean and well equipped to a very high standard.
Glassonby Hall is spacious and full of character. It was a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary with my wider family. The time was over too quick but we all made some special memories.

We had a group of friends and our dogs. It was a lovely week and the property is spacious and well appointed.

Glassonby hall and Jenny’s Croft were beautiful, serene and so peaceful. We had plans to explore the Lake District but instead we decided to stay put to relax and enjoy our surroundings. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend

Christine and her team are amazing . From the beginning of the booking to our departure , nothing was too much trouble .
The hamper is 5 star all local produce .
The cleanliness and the amount of kitchen supplies is truly remarkable .
There is nothing missing !! Loads of suggestions for eating out and walks . Charcoal for the barbecue and wood for fire pit in abundance .

An excellent weekend break, we had a weekend with our three grown up children and their partners, we took our two pugs, Christine was so helpful from the moment we booked until we left, amazing accommodation, in a beautiful setting, some excellent walks , good local pubs with real Ale, we will definitely be staying again

We spent a lovely few days at Glassonby Hall – a fabulous place to stay, and in a beautiful part of England. Christine and the team were very attentive and helpful in the lead up to our stay, and every detail at Glassonby is thought of. We hope to soon spend another holiday with the Rowley Estates, and would not hesitate to recommend Glassonby Hall. Many thanks!

The Perfect Retreat. This is about the sixth time I’ve booked Glassonby Hall (and first time booking Jenny’s Croft) and it’s a place I’ll come back to again and again. It is simply perfect. It’s both spacious and cosy and comfortable. My guests ALWAYS say how relaxed and at home they feel here. The most recent experience was hosting a retreat for fellow celebrants and it was simply fabulous. Snow outside, cosy fire inside. The farmhouse kitchen is fantastic for gathering around the table while soup simmers on the Aga.

People never fail to be dazzled by the well.

We ordered a hot tub and it was conveniently located right near the front door.

The hamper and fridge items always go down a treat, too. The lovely welcome card is so appreciated. Thank you.

Stayed at Glassonby Hall for a Celebrants’ retreat – it was the perfect location. Spacious, supremely comfortable and very well equipped. Hope to visit again – perhaps for another retreat or even a celebration with friends?

Beautifully restored hall. Under floor heating is a definite bonus. Generous basket of goodies and lots of space to mingle.
