We had a amazing time, the Hall was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We can’t praise the owners enough. The dishwasher broke and within a couple of hours a new one was installed, amazing service from lovely people

Glassonby Old Hall is beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a fantastic space for hosting (there were 8 of us). It’s really well kept with a luxury feel. We loved the welcome hamper provided! Added bonus… the snooker table! It’s situated in a great location, with Ullswater lake just 40mins drive away. There’s also plenty of walks nearby, we made use of the various walks listed in the folder provided.

I would like to start with one word- Fantastic!!!!  We stayed at the Glassonby Hall for 6 days at the end of August 2022.  We were 4 adults and 3 kids. The venue was absolutely amazing and comfortable for everyone.  Every little detail in the venue was with great thought and understanding of the guests needs, especially the quality self catering experience. The welcoming basket was a kind tribute we all enjoyed. After 5 nights, we didn’t want to leave… My kids called it “our new home” as they were so comfortable there. I highly recommend the venue and hope that we will be back in Glassonby Hall or any other Rowley estates venues soon.

Perfect venue for family celebration for Golden Wedding. Beautiful building, sensitively restored and very comfortable. Peaceful setting with lovely views. Lovely welcome basket and modern, well equipped kitchen. A really enjoyable and restful weekend in a lovely historic setting.
