Wow. What a great place to spend quality, luxury time with the family. The facilities are faultless and copious. Huge amounts of firewood provided which in the lakes is rare and a real gem. Everything felt of very high quality. First rate communications, lovely cleaning staff amd we even managed a nice grilled steak courtesy of the bbq. Place is heated by means of an aga which is a real bonus and every shower was mega powerful with endless hot water. Cant wait to return quite honestly. Thank you.

Just another 5 star review to add to the collection! Gill Beck Barn is a superb property, on a quiet road in a stunning location. It was spotlessly clean with massive comfy beds, fluffy towels, posh smellies, welcome hamper, underfloor heating and an Aga kicking it out 24/7. A great property for dog owners too; as soon as you pull off the road, shut the double gates to the private parking area and your dog has the run of a huge garden/small paddock, stock fenced all round. Also, outdoor heated dog shower! Christine was a very responsive host and it felt like they had thought of everything. A perfect stay.

Staying at the Gill Beck barn was amazing. The house was spotless upon arrival with a lovely welcome package. All the beds and furniture were very comfortable and the wood-burning fireplace was an amazing addition on a cold winter night. Christine was also very communicative and made sure our stay was perfect. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area I would highly recommend staying here.

What a fabulous place to stay! Clean and comfortable. Great communication with host. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. We arrived on a very cold winters day to find the house warm. We loved the welcome basket filled with yummy food and snacks. Would highly recommend a stay at Gill Beck Barn.

Gill Beck Barn is an amazing place to stay. Very beautiful and well kept, in an amazing location just a short drive from the lakes. The place was very dog friendly and had a large secure garden which our dogs loved! Christine was a great host who made us feel very welcome and was incredibly helpful. The welcome basket was a lovely touch too! Will deffo be staying again, for longer next time, as there’s so much to explore nearby.
