A really wonderful place to stay. Everything you could want is provided and the beds are so comfy. Super for children and dogs as well as adults.

The cottage was well equipped and well maintained.
The location was rural albeit not far from some really good pubs and the walking was excellent. Plenty of choice for walks and very few people.
A very peaceful and relaxing few days away. We will be returning.

Just returned from a long weekend at hause hall farm. We went for my husbands 65th birthday with family and friends. On arrival at property we couldn’t believe the amazing views. You are literally surrounded by hills. Absolutely stunning scenery. The main house was lovely. Large open plan kitchen dinning room with a sitting room at other end. Huge garden room with views across the hills. Plenty of room for everyone. 1 double ensuite room downs stairs and 4 upstairs. We also had Cruik barn which was beautiful with 2 double en-suite room, a lovely lounge and kitchen. We also had the stables which had 2 double en-suite rooms. Perfect for my sons as they had their own space but made then come over to the main house as they had no public areas! There are plenty of walks on your doorstep and it’s only a 20 min walk down to the terminal for the ullswater steamer. Great weekend. Thank you so much Christine and team.

Jenny’s Croft is a beautiful dog friendly cottage. ideally positioned for local walks and close to Long Meg and her Daughters. this cottage is one of the best equipped cottages we have every stayed in, they seemed to have thought over everything you would need. I would highly recommend Jenny’s cottage.

We recently enjoyed a short break in Elk Cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean , warm, cosy and comfortable.
The generous welcome pack was lovely, containing plenty of local produce, logs for the fire and even tea light candles. Beautiful outside area for warm weather and plenty of convenient parking space.
Our stay was very well organised by the team at Rowley Estates, ensuring that our arrival and departure went smoothly.

Loved this accommodation! Perfect place for something a bit different. Loved having our own private clearing with really nice outside seating area and where the cabin is situated is lovely- perfect for getting away from it all. Shepherd’s hut had everything we needed, was very clean and lots of nice littles touches like breakfast items/local produce left. Very good value for money and would definitely recommend and return. Communication with Christine was great and she provided clear and detailed instructions. Thanks again!

Had a wonderful weekend getaway. Beautiful Shepards hut (with everything you could need and more) surrounded by great views and was extremely peaceful. There was plenty to do nearby and lot of ideas from the host too. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.
