A fantastic 3 nights at the Shepherds hut! Very peaceful, perfect location to relax and very comfortable. Has everything we needed for several days and the breakfast items were a very nice addition. Christine and her team always answered questions very quickly and were so helpful. Would highly recommend, and we’ll be back!

Rowan Retreat shepherds hut is in a lovely setting. One of the best huts we have stayed in. Very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday.A magic escape for getting away.

Perfect tucked away place. The place itself ended up being what I liked the most about Lake District. The spot is just what you need for a easy getaway weekend in Lake District. I hope I can come back soon!

A lovely place to stay, nice and peaceful.

What can I say – absolutely perfect!! We had the most amazing, peaceful weekend at Rowan Retreat. The surrounding area is beautiful, we didn’t venture much as we were just quite happy relaxing by the fire pit listening to the river and embracing a true digital detox! Lovely drive up to Hadrians Wall on the Sunday, again, stunning location. Christine was super helpful throughout and the breakfast hamper left for us was lush! Everything you need for a chilled escape away. Would recommend to anyone and will hopefully visit again one day! Thank you so much!
