We stayed at the Rowan Retreat for 4 nights and really enjoyed the tranquility of the location! It was very quiet and secluded. The cabin was very well equipped and clean. It was in good driving distance of local hikes and Keswick. We would definitely recommend!

Stayed in many of these types of air bnbs now, this being the most I paid, although the place was very nice, clean and in a good location it was up to the same standards as other ones I have visited The host made us feel welcome even without their presence, and will hopefully use again in the future

Outstanding, beautiful, quiet and very much a place to enjoyed without technology. Host was really helpful and there is lots of walking and exploring to do nearby. Definitely will be recommending.

Lovely place, feels spacious despite being a cabin. And I’ve never known a place to be so peaceful! Absolute silence other than the stream flowing

Fantastic accommodation in a picturesque location, we spent 3 nights here and the only complaint I have is that we didn’t stay longer!

My partner and I loved our stay. There was a lovely welcome hamper of essentials. We had clear instructions of how to get there. It is a beautiful secluded retreat ☺️

We absolutely loved our stay at Rowan Retreat. The hut was so cosy and peaceful and had everything you need. The area was tranquil but within a short drive of everything you need, plus close to the lake district. Perfect stay and would definitely come again!

A fantastic 3 nights at the Shepherds hut! Very peaceful, perfect location to relax and very comfortable. Has everything we needed for several days and the breakfast items were a very nice addition. Christine and her team always answered questions very quickly and were so helpful. Would highly recommend, and we’ll be back!
