Everyone knows Penrith is amazing, and this is by far the best property I have experienced in the area. 

Excellent location, high on comfort and quality. Great location as you can walk to a lovely cafe, grocery shop and pub. Wonderful cycling area on quiet roads and pretty villages. House itself has everything to make for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The dogs were chilled too. Thank you for a comprehensive welcome hamper too. Thanks to the Rowley Estate team

From the moment we contacted Rowley Estates to make our booking they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The second you arrive at Blencowe Hall it really is a dream come true, the entire family were literally blown away by the magical presence of the castle. The rooms are just beautiful and the views stunning. Celebrating my birthday is something the whole family will always remember and we have the most special memories of 3 generations at Blencowe. We thank the team and highly recommend the Hall for any event or stay.

One of the best equipped and appointed cottages we’ve stayed in – everything you could possibly want is provided, it’s good quality and spotlessly clean. It’s a great base for exploring the northern lakes and also the eastern side of Cumbria. Stunning scenery all around you and lovely walks right from the door. Christine has provided very detailed information about the area, places to go, things to see and do, and suggestions for when the weather isn’t so good! There really isn’t anything we could find fault with. Absolutely perfect!

An absolutely fantastic stay. Christine was incredibly helpful. Great communication before our stay including suggestions of local events/walks. We stayed in Cazenovia Hall & Wythburn as we were a group of 8. The accommodation was excellent, clean, tidy, spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of little details – a folder full of suggested walks, recommended restaurants and even things like dog bowls/treats in case we’d forgotten to bring some. The gift basket upon arrival was great – bread, homemade jam, biscuits etc – lovely! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking in this area.
