Maple Retreat luxurious shepherd’s hut is a perfect romantic retreat, featuring a cosy double bedroom, a WC and shower room, and a charming reception area with a log-burning stove. The fitted kitchen comes equipped with a SMEG 2 burner gas hob, a Bosch oven, and an undercounter fridge, offering everything needed for intimate, home-cooked meals. Disconnect if you would like by switching off the fibre optic broadband, or keep it connected for a peaceful ‘work-from-holiday’ option. Maple Retreat is built with locally sourced larch, insulated with Herdwick wool and designed for year-round comfort, with heating throughout, including a warming towel rail in the shower room and a separate drying area for boots and coats near the private firepit (complimentary logs, kindling and matches provided… of course)

We had a fantastic week in the shepards hut. The hut had everything we needed for our stay. Christine was very proactive with recommendations etc prior to our stay. Would definitely recommend these huts!!

Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed both inside and out. The information provided was concise but thorough. The location is fabulous, nestled on the edge of a private wood with views across a small valley. Very private and quiet.
