Our 2 night stay was perfect – really detailed check-in instructions, so easy to find, great location with the local bakery and a short drive to Ulswater. The hut itself was spacious and well equipped. Really couldn’t fault it. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our time at Elm Retreat! I’ve never been so impressed by what an Airbnb offered — the attention to detail, the breakfast hamper, the BBQ/fire pit materials, bug spray, battery lamp, anything we could think of. Surroundings are peaceful and private. An overall great stay

Excellent place to stay, a wonderful place for our family get together. It has all the amenities you should need with a generous welcome hamper also. Great local recommendations available and well situated to explore the lakes.

Very nice little cabin in the woods feels very private and cozy. Lots of very nice walks close by just a short drive. Christine was also very helpful providing all the information timely, it made the whole stay very enjoyable and relaxing.

A beautiful and high quality cottage in a remote, peaceful and stunning area. We are Family of 5 and dog return regularly to enjoy the views, garden, and of course, the best welcome hamper ever packed full of amazing local produce!
