Fantastic stay at Todd Hills farm & vale croft last weekend. There were 14 of us altogether for a hen do. The house was beautiful and so well equipped. We rented a hot tub too and spent a lot of time in the hot tub enjoying the views from the property. There is a good cafe and pub in the nearby village, and great walks around the area from the house. Excellent stay, would recommend!

Lovely cottage, very well equipped and spacious. It was especially nice to be able to make a cup of tea after our long journey from the well thought welcome pack provided. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Rowans Retreat. Perfect little tranquil oasis and excellent base for exploring. The hut was well stocked with everything you could need and extremely comfortable. Beautiful little welcome hamper was a lovely touch too. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here in April with our children and grandchildren, this was our third visit. Lovely house and amenities, very clean and lovely bedrooms. Fantastic location, perfect for walking, didn’t need to use the cars after arrival. Fabulous views from the house. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning again.

Just got back from a great weekend at Melmerby Hall and Stag Cottage, this is the second time we have stayed at a Rowley Estates property and I can’t recommend them highly enough. We were originally due to go in October 2020 but had to rearrange due to the mess that is Covid, Rowley Estates were great to deal with and made rearranging a doddle. The property is huge inside and very well equipped, there’s even a snooker table for those that feel the need to show how good the professionals really are. There is plenty of room outside and plenty of seating is provided as well as a couple of BBQs and a fire pit. There is plenty of space in the grounds as well to stretch your legs and work off a few of the calories you’re bound to have indulged in. The village of Melmerby is a delight, the Shepherds Inn in the village is superb for any meals you want and the owner is very helpful in getting larger parties sorted, with a bit of pre organisation our party of 17 were fed and watered with very few issues, he even opened especially for us on the Friday afternoon. The staff there were friendly and sorted us out easily. The village bakery is great for those wanting a naughty snack and also does breakfasts, they fit 17 of us in before we left on the Monday morning and it was good stuff, no skinny bacon or a manky sausage in sight, all good. We got a delivery from Tesco and Sainsbury on the Friday of snacks and beer, it saved anyone having to travel to Penrith for supplies. Another great property from Rowley Estates…well done…PS…also check out Blencowe Hall owned by the same people, a little more isolated but a truly stunning property, we’ve been lucky enough to stay there as well

Easter 2022 my family and I stayed at Blencowe hall to celebrate my 60th birthday a year late due to covid. We had the most fantastic 4 days and only left Blencowe hall for just 1 afternoon to go on a boat trip at Ullswater. I also hired 2 hot tubs from the Cumbria hot tub hire and would highly recommend the company. Just sitting in the hot tubs looking at all the views from Blencowe was so relaxing. My husband and I stayed in the huge south tower master bedroom which had beautiful views from the balcony. All my family, the grandchildren and not forgetting the dogs had such a memorable stay. Blencowe hall is just amazing. Thank you.

If you are looking for a place with space to be with friends and family, to have lots of laughs and have your breath taken away by the views, then Hause Hall is the place you need to be. I had my 50th there and it was 100% perfect, there’s nothing I’d change.

We have just returned from Todd Hills Hall Farm from a family event first booked before lockdown! We booked the Hall, Gill Beck Barn and Vale Croft for a group of 19 and had a great time…all three houses are really welcoming, well-equipped and comfortable. The Farm is in an amazing location, with wonderful views all around. Thoroughly recommended.

Blencowe Hall and Cazenovia Hall were perfect venues for our large Family gathering. Impressive and high quality buildings of character and nice furnishings made it a pleasure to be in. Both Halls were spotlessly clean and warm and in a quiet location which made it ideal for all generations of the family. The kitchens were very well equipped and the welcome hamper wonderfully stuffed with lots of high quality goodies. All essentials were provided and toiletries lovely. The service from Christine was exceptional who was very responsive to my requests and nothing was too much bother. Communication was quick, friendly and very informative. The location is ideal for exploring the Lake District and Penrith area with its abundance of things to do and it’s beauty. I would recommend Blencowe Hall Estate without hesitation to anyone wanting a memorable gathering. Me and my family / friends loved staying at Glassonby Hall and adjacent properties. Christine and team at Rowley Estates were perfect hosts. My guests could not believe the quality of the accommodation and didn’t want to leave. 100% recommended.
