Thank you, Christine and Charlie, and your team – again – for a really fantastic stay at Cazenovia Hall over the new year. We’ve been lucky enough over the years to stay at various Rowley Estate properties and wherever we’ve stayed, they’ve always been exceptional.
This trip we spent a week here with friends (8 total, including 4 young children) and was absolutely ideal. Lots of safe space inside and out for the kids to play, for us to relax – not sure why a previous review questioned this – couldn’t disagree more. The large kitchen and dining area, and separate living area are perfect for a party of this size, and once we got the kids down, were able to enjoy the evening infront of the log fire or playing some pool. Can’t speak highly enough of our trip and the property, and would fully recommend to anyone.

We recently spent six nights at Stag Cottage with our daughter and two young grandchildren and we had a wonderful time. The cottage was comfortably furnished, well equipped and in a lovely village. The welcome hamper is full of wonderful treats – love the homemade raspberry jam! The gardens and grounds provided wonderful space to explore and burn off energy. This was our third booking with The Rowley Estates and we find they always exceed our expectations!

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend celebrating a birthday with family and friends at Todd Hills Hall.
It truly is a beautiful venue. All our family and friends loved it.
Christine and her team go to great lengths to provide everything you might need and all of the best quality.

Very peaceful setting in countryside, with fascinating Blencowe Hall next door. Glorious & generous Welcome Hamper. Especially well stocked kitchen & bathrooms. Very warm despite sub-zero outside. Welcoming attention to detail. Cosy & luxurious lounge with leather sofas & large stove. All appliances & lights worked. Owner & staff very accommadating in allowing us a tour of Blencowe Hall. Very timely responses to all queries via email.

We stayed at cazenovia hall for Christmas. Having stayed here before we were delighted to be back. It is a beautiful house. Everything is first class . Beautiful bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. The large kitchen with dinning area was great fir us all to gather round the large dinning table. After dinner you can retreat to the lovely lounge with a large fireplace. The welcome basket is the best one we have received in a rented property. Enjoyed it so much we have booked for next year😊

We had an amazing stay at Gill Beck Barn. For the second year in a row, we booked a long weekend just before Christmas and spent a few days eating, drinking, walking, and jigsaw-ing in a beautiful location. The house is so well set-up for that sort of thing, and the added bonuses of the christmas tree, the log burner and the aga make it a really special place to be. The Rowleys are also incredibly responsive and provide all the info you need to have a wonderful break. Thank you again!

Great place to getaway for a large family, peaceful and not too far to drive for local sightseeing. Rooms are all spacious with en suites. We loved only having 1 TV!!! Kitchen is spacious and comfortably hosts 12 people + dogs who were also catered for! All of the small touches just added to a seamless, well organised & comfortable vacation. Lots of board games played and festive / New Year fun had! Christine and her team were excellent, answering our queries promptly and acting upon any small issues we had. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble!! Would highly recommend and we would book again… Thank you Rowley Estates you set the bar very high!

My family and I spent 4 days in the gorgeous Stag Cottage the week before Christmas and everything was absolutely perfect. This was our 3rd stay with The Rowley Estates and everything is always absolutely faultless. Christine, Charles and Gill all bend over backwards to make sure our stays are just as we requested and if ever there is an issue it is dealt with asap. We have stayed in other cottages in the lakes and nothing ever beats The Rowley Estates. Stag Cottage in particular is perfect for breaks away in this cute little village. This cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings is just what we all needed, our children loved exploring the grounds, going for local walks and loved visiting the Village Cafe and Toy Shop. I will always recommend The Rowley Estates purely for the high quality, we will be back again very soon! Theres just too many lovely places to choose from! Family Christmas. Ideal location, beautiful house, warm and cosy. Well equipped and furnished. Excellent information pack provided on everything on the house, surrounding area including walks. No hesitation in recommending.

We loved the property, it was perfect for a break with the family and we all said we would love to return.

The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. The bathrooms were all stocked with lovely items from the local area. We were all really impressed.

To supply as many logs as you do is also very good, quite often in my experience you are given a basket of say, 6-8 logs to get you going and then you are expected to pay for any extra. The house was so warm that we didn’t really get through many as the fire wasn’t needed but definitely a nice touch!

The hamper too… we couldn’t believe it. We’ve stayed at a lot of holiday cottages in the uk and never have we received such a beautiful hamper filled with so many lovely local treats.

Your communication throughout has also been really appreciated, we’ve always known you’re on hand if we have any questions.
