Lovely shepherds hut! Beautiful location with Penrith town just a short distance away. Lovely, attentive host! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend in the Lake District, staying at beautiful Blencowe Hall absolutely stunning property in a fantastic location just a mile outside a beautiful village of Greystoke. Everything perfect for large groups, all bedrooms beautifully furnished and decorated honestly amazing. Couldn’t fault booking process and all correspondence received up to, during and after our stay, I would honestly recommend it’s a gem of a place.

Wow, just wow. This place is a tranquil piece of luxury in the heart of Cumbria. The hut had absolutely everything you would need and more, thank you so much for the thoughtful bread, coffee, eggs, and jam for our arrival! We would not hesitate to recommend to anybody who wants to relax, unwind, and enjoy a beautiful stay in the peaceful countryside!

An amazing Easter wedding weekend for my daughter & son-in-law, 2 horses & dogs! Just a glorious setting for the ceremony, the celebrations & an Easter egg hunt! The accommodation is excellent & we really appreciated the lovely welcome hampers. Thank you so much for helping us make some fabulous family memories; can’t wait to return to make some more!

I was impressed by the attention to detail for my daughters wedding. We had a number of questions, all of which were answered clearly. The support that we were given before and during our stay, gave us the confidence that the ‘big day’ would be a success.
The standard and versatility of accommodation, meant that families and unrelated groups could meet up, party or just chill, as we pleased.
The recommended caterers delivered a range of meals over 3 days, which met the needs of all ages and tastes.
It was a weekend to remember, but for all the right reasons.

We hired the whole estate for our wedding over Easter weekend. The Hall, the cottages, the shepherds huts, the grounds and the Byre were all stunning! So well equipped and the lovely little touches like welcome hampers, toiletries etc are a lovely welcoming touch. We came, along with 50 guests, our dogs and our horses and we didn’t want to leave. It was the most perfect weekend in the most beautiful setting! Christine and Joanna were just amazing throughout the whole planning process and were so welcoming when we arrived. Absolutely lovely people, lovely place, We will certainly be back.
If you’re looking to book, I would highly recommended and would also recommend Eden Catering solutions for your stay. They catered the whole weekend for us and were absolutely brilliant!

Gill Beck Barn was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Everything as catered for and the place was spotless, luxurious and in a magical location. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again and try some of the other properties.

We had a fabulous stay at Jenny’s Croft in April. The property is very well equipped with all you would need for a lovely break. The location felt very rural and out of the way but just a short drive to larger towns and the lakes. We loved the welcome hamper and the log burner. The beds were comfy, the showers powerful and the kitchen had all we needed. With the rural location and very little light pollution we enjoyed a clear night of star gazing too. It was fantastic seeing the sheep and lambs every day in the neighbouring fields. Would definitely return and would highly recommend Jenny’s Croft.

Our stay at Blencowe was incredible! What a gorgeous property. Everything was perfect and made celebrating my 50th birthday truly wonderful and unforgettable. Christine and the team were super helpful in answering questions and making sure we felt welcome and at home during our entire stay.

Great place to stay and explore the lakes, can’t fault anything about the house or the host, both were great, will be returning in the future!
