I am so pleased we chose Hause Hall to celebrate my Husbands 40th birthday. The views were spectacular and the property is amazing. It was our first time doing an Air BnB, and Christine made it easy and was so friendly in helping with all queries – especially helping with finding local activities for the kids. Hause Hall was amazing, it was lovely and warm inside. The agar was great! We hired a hot tub too, Christine was so helpful in providing access to the property to ensure it was all setup before we arrived. I’d highly recommend Christine and the Rowley Estates family, you will not be disappointed!

An amazing property overlooking the eastern Lake District – a fantastic stay, everything required for a large family weekend away – the enclosed outside space is excellent for children and dogs… Christine was an exceptional host, catering to our needs (great welcome pack), allowing us a late check-out. We had the loveliest stay at Oak Retreat! Christine is a wonderful host who was always happy to help with any questions. The hut itself is so cosy and refreshing, every detail has been thought about and it really shows. The welcome hamper was filled with fresh jam, coffee, muesli and bread which was lovely and the fridge had some bits too! Not to mention, the shower products supplied made my hair so soft 🙂 . The field opposite the hut is a cow field, but they are so quiet that it is perfect and so sweet to look out at the cows every morning with a cuppa. The bed was also so comfy and we would never have left it if it wasn’t for the beautiful walks in the area. I would 100% recommend!

Perfect place for our family to get together. The pics and description do not do it justice, Christine’s place is exceptional. It’s all the thoughtful extras that make it stand out. The gorgeous welcome pack with local delights, games , books and even a dog towel for our muddy Border terrier. We had the best time.

We had a great time at Larch Retreat. Easy to locate using the postcode provided. Great location, peaceful and private. Within fairly close proximity to Penrith for amenities. There are great locations nearby for a day out. Larch Retreat was clean and organised. We had everything that we needed during our stay.

This is our 3rd year at Elk Cottage. We absolutely love coming and love the surrounding areas. The Lake District is just so beautiful. Christine and her team are lovely as well and so helpful. We can’t wait to come back.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Larch Retreat. A beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious Shepard’s hut overlooking fields and mountains…we were lucky enough to be able to see snow on peaks! Generous hamper of delicious local goodies was a very welcome sight when we arrived. There was an abundance of fire wood and we used both the log burner and fire pit. A BBQ is also provided. Quick Wi-Fi, well equipped kitchen, hot shower and lots of nice touches like board games and maps. We stayed for 4 nights and would have happily stayed longer. Perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle and well situated to explore the lakes. Would highly recommended.

What an amazing place and a great host. Definitely recommend! Ideal base for the Lake District.

Had a really lovely stay at Christine’s. Breakfast was provided and the place was exactly as it seems in the pictures. The location and instructions provided were very accurate and clear.
