Amazing, could not fault a single thing!

Our stay was lovely, such a peaceful quiet relaxing place, thank you for having us !

We’ve done quite a few multi-generational weekends away over the years, and Blencowe Hall was by far the best we’ve stayed in.

The house itself is stunning, full of character but also incredibly comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen is very well equipped, which made catering for a large group so much easier.

Christine was a fantastic host, really responsive and helpful throughout, and nothing was too much trouble.

A perfect place for a big family gathering, we’ll definitely be back!

Todd’s Hill farm was such a beautiful place to stay! The location is stunning and the house is perfect for a large group! Each bedroom is beautifully done and no one felt like they had a bad room as all are brilliantly sized and with en suite. The welcome hampers are incredible – especially the muesli and jams! The sunset was spectacular and highly recommend the local pub where Rasmus and the team looked after us so well. The communication and help from Christine is superb and it’s actually our 3rd stay at one of the Rowley properties as they are such high quality and great value. Could not recommend more!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Oak Retreat. The cabin is cosy small for two and we felt treated with all the complimemtary local food items! the highlight was the firepit right outside. Christine is responsive and helpful

Great spot, super clean, very responsive and helpful host, great recommendations, lovely treats on arrival! Considering how remote, great WiFi, warm water and space, super comfy and cosy. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the larch retreat! The location was beautiful and the accommodation was really well appointed. The bed was extremely comfy and we really enjoyed all the cosy amenities including the wood fire burner.. the perfect place to come back to after a long walk. Would highly recommend and we hope to come again!

A really lovely place to spend a few days. The Shepherd’s Hut have been really thoughtfully designed, and is in a beautiful, quiet spot. It’s much better kitted out than a lot of similiar accommodation and we appreciated all of the extra touches – a breakfast hamper, plenty of tea and coffee, all the utensils and pots etc you’ll need for a few days. Even the trolley to get your luggage from the car to the hut was a fantastic idea – small touches that make a huge difference to a smooth, restful break. Christine was very accommodating of our late notice booking and communication was excellent.

What a fabulous week. 6 adults 2 babies and 5 dogs had a super time. We had our shopping delivered on the day of arrival and we were all set. Everything you need is there it is home from home.
Short walk to village the bakery is first class for breakfast or lunch. The pub is also handy although we didn’t eat there but looked very nice.
Penrith and other places of interest are within easy reach as are the wider lakes.
Although Gill Beck Barn is the perfect get away from it all and chill with lovely walks nearby or just enjoy the beautiful views on your doorstep.
I highly recommend this accommodation and have rebooked to visit again in 2027.

Absolutely superb find. 6 adults 2 babies and 5 dogs. The barn was perfect in every way. Pub and Village Bakery highly recommend. Short drive into Penrith where all major supermarkets and small shops to buy everything you need. I cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you for a lovely stay
