This retreat was incredible. Very secluded and peaceful, with brilliant amenities. Christine is a lovely host, very responsive to any questions that I had throughout the stay. Such a beautiful shepherds hut, definitely will visit again.

The service we experienced as Glassonby Hall was honestly unmatched. The attention to detail this host puts into everything and the amounts of care they have for their visitors is truly wonderful. Can’t recommend this stay and experience enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ everything was perfect!

Wow, Blencowe Hall is just stunning! The owners had everything covered: spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen, dining table already set, a large living room, manicured gardens…and done lovely touches. It’s a beautiful Castle/Hall and we will definitely return. An ideal venue for a family celebration.

Had a lovely stay here at Oak Retreat, for our second year in a row.
Christine was very proactive and helpful and even gave us flexible check in/out times.
Location is perfect for hiking and situated near some of the highlights of The Lake District.
Very cosy, felt right at home! Peaceful and serene area without being too far away from necessities.
Hopefully we will return next year!
