Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and everything from start finish was just perfect. The welcome package was the sweetest touch. Including fresh homemade jam, bread, organic eggs, apple juice and more. The hut itself was just the cutest little thing and the indoor log fire made it even more cosy. The location was perfect and only a 20 minutes drive away from Keswick and an hour from Windermere. Christine was so lovely, even though we didn’t meet her, she couldn’t have been more helpful. She gave us very clear instructions and was just an email away if we needed anything. I cannot recommend this little gem enough, I will be recommending to all my friends and family. Thank you so much Christine for a much needed relaxing break, will be back! From Roisin and Will 🙂

Me and my friend had a wonderful stay at Christine’s lodge. She provided some food for us to get started and the air bnb had all the amenities to cook. It was a secluded, cosy lodge which was perfect for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect if you have a car to get around, but the local town is nearby and had beautiful views. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning. The only issue we has was with locking the door, but can’t complain when everything else was perfect.

Thank you so much, I booked this stay for a surprise for Mother’s Day, my mum really enjoyed our stay, the host even made a little breakfast basket for us, with some other bits in the fridge, everything was clean and actually bigger than we expected, the hut is in a great location, very quiet and pretty, and very close to different pubs and local towns.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Larch retreat. The cabin was very comfortable and was warm and dry even though we had rainy weather. We also really appreciated the breakfast supplies and the little wood burning stove.

We both enjoyed the privacy of the area as you’re pretty much in the middle of a little forest. We would 100% recommend Larch Retreat to everyone! Thanks for our stay!
