Thank you so much, I booked this stay for a surprise for Mother’s Day, my mum really enjoyed our stay, the host even made a little breakfast basket for us, with some other bits in the fridge, everything was clean and actually bigger than we expected, the hut is in a great location, very quiet and pretty, and very close to different pubs and local towns.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Larch retreat. The cabin was very comfortable and was warm and dry even though we had rainy weather. We also really appreciated the breakfast supplies and the little wood burning stove.

We had a lovely stay at Larch Retreat. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly. The place was spotless and was lovely inside. We both enjoyed the privacy of the area as you’re pretty much in the middle of a little forest. We would 100% recommend Larch Retreat to everyone! Thanks for our stay!

We had a great time at Larch Retreat. Easy to locate using the postcode provided. Great location, peaceful and private. Within fairly close proximity to Penrith for amenities. There are great locations nearby for a day out. Larch Retreat was clean and organised. We had everything that we needed during our stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Larch Retreat. A beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious Shepard’s hut overlooking fields and mountains…we were lucky enough to be able to see snow on peaks! Generous hamper of delicious local goodies was a very welcome sight when we arrived. There was an abundance of fire wood and we used both the log burner and fire pit. A BBQ is also provided. Quick Wi-Fi, well equipped kitchen, hot shower and lots of nice touches like board games and maps. We stayed for 4 nights and would have happily stayed longer. Perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle and well situated to explore the lakes. Would highly recommended.
