We were a group of 10 friends staying at Todd Hills Hall farm. We could not fault our week’s stay there. The booking process was extremely smooth and the information provided about the house and surrounding area was excellent. Arrival instructions were clear and the house on arrival was spotless. The provided hamper was very well and thoughtfully stocked. We had to contact Christine once during our stay and there was an instant helpful response.
All in all a great stay and we would love to go back.

Beautiful house and location, high quality furnishings and fittings which makes it feel homely instead of a typical holiday let. Best fully equipped kitchen you could ask for, the welcome basket was like something from Fortnum and Mason and a wonderful surprise. The garden is enclosed for dogs and their private woodland adjacent to the property was fantastic for the dogs to explore, it was fenced on the perimeter which ensured they never went near neighbouring sheep. Nice local pub, great Sunday lunch but make sure you book. The village bakery and cafe looked nice but the pub won our custom. We visited in December so did not use the garden furniture or bbq equipment which looked good quality, we did however use the wood provided for the log burner in the lounge which was lovely. We would love to return to this or any of their other properties in the area.

Tastefully furnished, extremely well appointed and ideal location for the Lake District and great places to eat nearby. First rate.

Thank you Christine and team, my husband and I had a wonderful stay at your lovely hut. The views were beautiful, the hut was cosy and warm. All communication with us was excellent and very clear instructions. We would absolutely recommend a stay here. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to return! Thank you.

Such a great place to stay. So many times our group of friends have stayed in large houses which have been cold and not particularly well equipped for large groups (there were 16 of us) but Melmerby Hall exceeded our expectations. All the rooms were lovely, beautiful bathrooms and cosy lounges. The dining room , already laid for us was ideal. All the crockery/cutlery/glassware we could need. The suggested walks and activities were really thoughtful. We also loved the welcome hamper. We loved it so much we’ve rebooked it

Stunning property just outside Melmerby. The house was so cosy and warm, finished really well and to a high standard. A beautiful hamper awaited us on arrival which was a lovely touch. Communication from Christine and Rowley Estates was excellent. Highly recommended.

6 of us + dogs stayed for a long weekend. Probably the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Christine was very helpful through the whole booking process, the cottage was superb inside and very warm & cosy. Beds great, showers hot & powerful & everything thought of. Good pub 1/2 mile away. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay at Todd Hills Farm with all the family, great location, lovely views and ideal space for all of us and the dogs to spend the weekend together. Exactly as it said on the listing and Christine couldn’t have been more helpful. Will definately be looking to book again in the future.
