My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Larch Retreat—everything was perfect. The cabin was spotless, very clean, tidy, and incredibly cosy, tucked away in a small woodland. We really appreciated the lovely food basket waiting for us on arrival; it was such a thoughtful touch. The location was excellent—easy to find and ideal for getting around, with plenty to see and do just a short drive away. Waking up to beautiful views every morning was definitely a highlight of our stay. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing and are already in the process of planning our next stay – we enjoyed it that much!

Great stay at the Rowan Retreat! place was spotless, private and idealic. some local farm produce on arrival was a lovely touch! We had a lovely stay and will be staying again!!

Excellent stay at Gill Beck Barn, Christine was friendly, helpful and very responsive – offering extensive and thorough information before our arrival too. The barn was spotless, the welcome hamper was delightful and the welcome pup hamper was an extra special touch. It really is a dog friendly space with enclosed garden – our dogs LOVED nothing more than running around playing with their toys! The barn itself is well equipped and Christine has really thought of everything, we especially enjoyed cooking on the aga and the BBQ! Bathroom products are lovely! And locally produced. Everything is easily accessible by car – with some lovely local produce shops about 15 minutes away (Cranstons is worth a visit!) We also followed some of Christine’s recommendations and visited the old village bakery and the shepherds inn – both excellent. We will definitely stay with Christine again and are already thinking about our next trip! Thank you!!

We have just had a long weekend at Cedar Retreat and absolutely loved it! The rural peacefulness is exactly what we were looking for. The shepherds hut is well equipped with anything you could possibly need and the hamper was such a lovely touch. We loved being able to sit out at night having a bbq and a fire. Our dog also loved having a run around! Thank you, we will definitely be returning.

Had a great weekend here, perfect place to stay for a large family group. Hosts were brilliant and the house had everything we needed, highly recommend staying here.

Our second stay at Kirkbride Hall. It was brilliant. A relaxing home from home for our family and dog. The living room and bedrooms are so comfortable. Fab bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. The toiletries are lovely and we were so chuffed with the welcome hamper! We will be back for sure.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Hawthorn retreat, helpful instructions leading up to the stay and a lovely selection of Cumbrian goodies when we arrived, the plum jam was especially good :). We both will definitely be returning in the future. Hopefully with some warmer weather so we can make more use of the amazing outdoor seating, fire pit and bbq!

Excellent stay as usual. The Rowley estates never fail to deliver. Cazenovia Hall is in a wonderful peaceful spot with a village nearby with local pub and food. The accommodation is fantastic and we especially loved the doggy basket of treats. Will definitely return again.

We had a perfect stay at Maple Retreat, i would give 10 stars if I could. Our favourite feature was the log burner especially for colder nights it creates the cosiest space to snuggle up in. The cabin is private and close to the local town Penrith (15 min drive), perfect for couples of all ages. The welcome pack and amenities provided were great and show the hosts really go the extra mile for guests. We loved staying here and recommend to anyone in a heartbeat! A big thank you Christine & Rowely estates!
