Had a wonderfully peaceful and comfortable few nights at Maple Retreat. The cabin was very well-kept and had everything I needed, including a pile of firewood and other generous touches from the host that really made the place homely. I felt very secluded even though a neighbouring cabin is only about 50m away – it’s nestled in the trees and faces out onto the country view, so I might never have known I wasn’t miles away from anyone. A lovely place to stay if you’re looking to unwind or as a base for local walks.

Beautiful house and very well equipped for larger groups, with plenty of crockery, cooking equipment etc.

My boyfriend and me booked this weekend away for our anniversary and it was very beautiful and peaceful.
The perfect trip away to rest and reset away from phones and any other distractions.

Just had the loveliest stay at Elm Retreat, we arrived to an amazing package of bread, eggs, milk, jam, cheese, butter, apple juice, muesli, tea bags, coffee grinds! Our whole stay was perfect thanks to Christine and the team at Rowley Estates, we would 100% recommend and would definitely come back again. Thank you so much Christine

We had such a lovely stay, this was our second visit. Very relaxed and scenic. Everything you’d need for a few days is provided and the locally sourced welcome gifts is a lovely touch! Would highly recommend

Beautiful stay at Christine’s place! She was so communicative and welcoming. There were so many treats waiting for us and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Will be back again.

We absolutely loved staying here for the four nights we booked and wished we’d stayed longer. The place was spick and span. Absolutely stunning surrounding scenery, with every detail thought of to accommadate us during our holiday. We will definitely be back.
