Rates range from £56 per person per night based on full occupancy for a 3 night mid-week stay in the 2026 early spring season or £339 total for a midweek short break.

Overview

Larch Retreat has a double bed, a hand-painted kitchen with a SMEG gas hob and full size Bosch oven, a refrigerator and wifi. The bed folds up revealing a lift up handmade oak dining table with storage cupboards under the upholstered bench seating.

This custom designed hut was carefully designed and made by our team at The Rowley Estates on site at Blencowe Hall. It is insulated with locally sourced sheep’s wool and has heating and a warming towel rail. The ensuite shower room is equipped with a chrome shower with hot running water and a plumbed WC and basin.

In the summer, keep the doors open and enjoy dining al fresco in the private woodland glade overlooking the peaceful green fields and beautiful Lake District fells.

We lived our stay here, the most peaceful location and perfect distance from the nearest town for shops etc. The added touch of local produce and necessities already in the hut made us feel very welcome.
