The owner was fantastic throughout and provided detailed instructions on how to find it, kept in regular contact up to and throughout the visit to make it even better. Absolute 10/10 service. The shepherds hit itself was pristinely clean, with an amazing location and well stocked – even supplying essentials!

We have just come back from a lovely few days at Riverain, party of 6 adults, 2 dogs  and two babies.  The coach house is so comfortable, plenty of room for us all and lots of games to enjoy.  We even lit the fire a couple of evenings which was such a treat.  The kitchen is a delight, sharp knives, decent pans and even a full spice rack.  I had brought along some spices and oils but didnt need to use them.  The welcome basket, full of local goodies was delicious.  We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this lovely coach house.

A Palace in disguise

We had a wonderful stay at Gill Beck Barn. It is beautiful with a lovely homely feel. The welcome pack was great and such a nice touch. The location is beautiful and far enough out to be peaceful but also easy to travel to places. This was our first holiday away with our ‘grown up’ kids and 4 dogs & it couldn’t have been better. Thoroughly recommended!

Such a special place for a large group to stay! We really enjoyed our time at Todd Hills and Christine and team were super communicative about everything. It’s naturally not the cheapest option but ideal if it’s a special occasion like it was for us. So near to Penrith and lots of lovely local walks in and around the Lakes.

Relaxing stay, in beautiful well layed out cottages & gardens with wonderful views. The host (Christine) was extremely helpful, informative and prompt to reply. The welcome hampers were fabulous. We would definitely return.

We had an absolutely lovely time at the rowan retreat, it was such a lovely privet cabin with all we could need, we had some local treats upon our arrival which were completely unexpected but a super touch. Christine communicated clearly with us if there were any issues and sent over recommendations of what to do in the area which was helpful. could not recommend booking here enough. Thank you!!

We have a fantastic stay in the oak retreat its so peaceful and the view and surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The sheep and cows right on your door step are lovely to see when sitting relaxing with a cuppa. The shepards hut has all you need for a relaxing stay, and its a short drive to the closest town but so many more places easy to get to lots to see and do. Thank you for a very memorable holiday.

Absolutely stunning property and surroundings. Perfect for my Hen Do with everything you could ever want or need and with a very generous luxury welcome basket.The owner is always available to answer any query or help with anything needed.
