We had a truly magical stay as a family and made some beautiful memories here with our two children. The hut was warm, charming, and full of thoughtful details that made us feel instantly at home. The grounds were peaceful and perfect for slowing down and enjoying time together. Christine was so welcoming and kind, helping us with entry and making us feel genuinely cared for. The lovely local produce left for us was such a thoughtful touch and meant a lot to our family. This stay will stay with us for a long time, and we hope to return one day. Thank you for sharing such a special place with us.

Sarah’s 30th Birthday! We have had an amazing time celebrating Sarah’s 30th birthday. Incredible house, location and facilities! Lovely touch with the hamper upon arrival, our 4 legged friends had the best time too! We can’t wait to be back, thank you!

Fantastic stay, great house

Me and my boyfriend came for our anniversary and it was so lovely! Christine and the team made our stay feel like a home away from home. The welcome bundle was super convenient and thoughtful – meaning we didn’t have to think about running to the shops when we first got there for the essentials. The location was extremely private and had a gorgeous view of the fells. This location was also perfect as it was a 10 min drive from Penrith and was also easily accessible from the main road into the lakes. Would definitely recommend a stay here! 🙂

Great host and great place to stay.

Everything about Kirkbride Hall was superb. The furniture and fittings were high quality throughout the property which was a nice change from the typical low quality you often get in holiday lets.
The welcome hamper was outstanding.
Spotlessly clean.
Great place to stay if you have dogs as the garden is enclosed and their private woodland is adjacent to the property.
Nice village pub serving very nice food and good cask beer.

We were a group of 10 friends staying at Todd Hills Hall farm. We could not fault our week’s stay there. The booking process was extremely smooth and the information provided about the house and surrounding area was excellent. Arrival instructions were clear and the house on arrival was spotless. The provided hamper was very well and thoughtfully stocked. We had to contact Christine once during our stay and there was an instant helpful response.
All in all a great stay and we would love to go back.

Beautiful house and location, high quality furnishings and fittings which makes it feel homely instead of a typical holiday let. Best fully equipped kitchen you could ask for, the welcome basket was like something from Fortnum and Mason and a wonderful surprise. The garden is enclosed for dogs and their private woodland adjacent to the property was fantastic for the dogs to explore, it was fenced on the perimeter which ensured they never went near neighbouring sheep. Nice local pub, great Sunday lunch but make sure you book. The village bakery and cafe looked nice but the pub won our custom. We visited in December so did not use the garden furniture or bbq equipment which looked good quality, we did however use the wood provided for the log burner in the lounge which was lovely. We would love to return to this or any of their other properties in the area.
